Meet the Team

Bill Crenshaw
Founder

My wife, Mary and I have been married for 40 years. We are the proud parents of three daughters and grandparents to a growing number of grandchildren. My childhood was deeply rooted in the Louisiana outdoors, where I developed a love for fishing, camping, and hunting. After graduating from university, my career brought our family to Texas.

My faith has always been central to my life. I have actively served my church community through Sunday School teaching and leading small groups. However, my life’s trajectory shifted significantly when I began participating in international mission trips. These experiences, particularly in Africa, India, and Brazil, ignited a deep passion within me for global service. Witnessing the resilience and joy of those living in poverty, despite facing immense hardship, profoundly impacted my perspective.

In 2015, a transformative mission trip to the Congo solidified my calling to serve God through international ministry. Through this experience and subsequent spiritual refinement, I felt a renewed urgency to return to Africa and serve the people I had grown to love. In 2020, I embarked on this journey by founding The Rock Ministries. This exciting venture continues to be a source of immense fulfillment.
