2024 has launched rapidly with multiple trainings in two refugee camps in Uganda and another team is returning to the Congo later this month. I am very encouraged and excited to experience what God is going to do in 2024. Why do you say that you ask? Well, I am seeing more and more simple people being obedient to Jesus, sharing their testimony and the simple gospel message. It is simple yet powerful for saving and changing lives, families, and communities!
In Matthew 28:18-20, Jesus has given every believer a commandment. As we obey, we have Jesus’ authority and Jesus’ presence. We are really in partnership with God, to bring His rule and kingdom to every area of life here on earth. Every believer has a vital role. As we do our role, God has promised to do His! So, I am expecting things in 2024 that bring glory to God that only He can accomplish! That gets me pumped up!
The gospel is spreading through the natural relationship networks of the Congolese and our mission remains as always: “to reach all the Congolese people for Jesus”. We have recently launched programs to start providing malaria treatment and food for children, along with trauma counselling, all in an effort to transition and empower them to climb out of poverty. We ask for and need your prayers, partnership, and practical support.
